Judge Charles Simmons is a native of Murfreesboro, TN. A Morehouse College graduate as well as a graduate of the University Of Tennessee College Of Law. He started his career in the Public Defender’s Office for the City of Atlanta. After his time there he was an Assistant Solicitor General for Fulton and DeKalb Counties. Currently he is a senior attorney with the City of Atlanta Public Defender’s Office. He is committed to equal treatment and fairness for all parties who appear before the court. In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports, playing golf, and spending time with his wife and 1 year old daughter.
