Judge Bray Taylor was appointed to the Fulton County Magistrate Court bench in 2024. Prior to her judicial appointment, Bray built a diverse legal career spanning public and private sectors. She served as in-house counsel in the automotive technology and telecommunications industries, provided employment law guidance for a state government agency, and advised on general counsel matters for public school boards. Before she became an attorney, Bray spent several years in corporate finance for a multinational financial services company. Throughout her career, Bray has earned a reputation for her sharp legal analysis, a meticulous attention to detail, and ability to distill complex issues into clear, actionable outcomes

Bray holds a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she earned CALI Awards in Business Drafting, Copyrights, and Trademarks and was the Marketing Editor for the Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law. She completed legal internships with the CBS Corporation and Warner Bros. Entertainment. Bray also earned a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Organization and Management, from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Seton Hall University. She is admitted to practice law in Georgia, New Jersey, and New York. In addition, Bray is a certified arbitrator and civil mediator.

Bray hails from Paterson, New Jersey, which forms the basis of her judicial philosophy—expanding access to record restriction and advancing trauma-informed justice. She believes that true justice not only holds individuals accountable but also clears the path forward, recognizing the humanity in every case.

Off the bench, Bray loves exploring the Eastside Beltline, noodles, and spreadsheets. She once owned a professional organizing business—proving she knows how to transform chaos into clarity, whether in legal disputes or cluttered closets. You may not want to invite her into your home—or your refrigerator—as she finds an odd satisfaction in tossing recently expired condiments, sauces, and some of your favorite guilty pleasures.
